I have two passions in life: photography and travel – call me travel photographer! After each summer wedding season, I pack my bag to discover the world. In 2015, I was lucky enough to be able to photograph a wedding in Australia (destination wedding photographer here I am). So it was the ideal opportunity to join its neighbouring island: New Zealand. Country of the hobbits and fairy landscapes that have aroused a lot of “Oh it’s so beautiful”.
With my travel friend, we rented a van and traveled 5000 km from north to south. We went through: Queenstown the city with extreme sports, the Paparoa national park and its pancakes rock, we crossed on foot the famous Tongariro cross alpine with its 20km long trail, the Roads of Milford Sounds and its majestic setting (1st picture), the fjords in the mist, Mount Cook with its snow-capped peaks, Lake Pukaiki & Tekapay where you can confuse sky and water, the city of Christchurch with its many artistic creations … etc …
Each of my roadtrips is punctuated by volunteer work because to my mind it is a good way to understand the culture, the customs, the history of a country. Through the brilliant website helpx.net , I found a kiwi family who needed a volunteer worker.
An amazing experience, that I will never forget.
